Overview

High-throughput enzyme screening is a process used to rapidly screen large libraries of enzymes to identify those with desired properties. The process utilizes robotic systems and automation to quickly and accurately perform multiple assays or reactions simultaneously. High-throughput enzyme screening involves several steps. 1) A library of enzymes is created, either through genetic engineering techniques or by isolating enzymes from natural sources.
